SimCity - Good news everyone

Good news about the new SimCity.

What was first to be released only on Origin, will now see its way to other digital distribution platforms. Which ones? Unknown right now.

And keeping up the good news: SimCity will require constant Internet connection to play.

Wait...

Stone Librande, Lead designer for SimCity confirmed that the game would require an Internet connection to play, even if that wasn't the point of purchase. 

The always-on connection becomes necessary with the game's emphasis on multiplayer and regional impact, and the use of a global economy that all players can influence.

So I kind of get it. But what if I want to play the game while on a plane? Or somewhere I don't have access to the Internet?
